My Favorite Indie Haunts Book Giveaway Rules
You can give a shout out to your favorite Indie bookstore, and earn raffle tickets for chances to win a signed Liars Club author’s book. You only need one ticket in the box to win.
Here’s how you can earn tickets.
- Leave a comment on this blog post with a link to your local indie bookstore – 1 ticket. Here’s a link to Indiebound’s Store Finder.
- Leave a comment on this blog post with a link to your Indiebound profile – 1 ticket.
- Leave a comment on this blog post with a link to a picture of yourself inside an Indie bookstore, including the name and location of the store – 3 tickets.
- Leave a comment on this blog post with a link to a picture of you and somebody from the staff, including their name – 5 tickets.
- If during your visit to an Indie bookstore you buy a book – ANY BOOK! – and tell us what it is. – 5 tickets.
Use hashtag #indie1 on Twitter to earn tickets:
- Every time you tweet about the contest using the hashtag #indie1 – 1 ticket.
- Every time you re-tweet somebody else’s tweet about the contest using the hashtag #indie1 – 1 ticket.
- Every time anything you tweet about the contest tweet is re-tweeted using the hashtag #indie1- 1 ticket.

- Post a link to this blog post on your Facebook page and tag at least 3 Liars Club members (just so we catch it) – 5 tickets.
- Blog about your indie bookstore experience, and leave the link in the comments section of this blog post – 5 tickets.

Contest ends November 1st at 12:00 AM PST.
We’ll pull the winners 1 through 10, alphabetically (L.A. Banks’ THE THIRTEENTH first, Dennis Tafoya’s DOPE THIEF last) to award each book, and videotape the drawings November 7th during our Truth Tour party at Womrath’s Bookstore.
The contestant earning the most tickets will win the grand prize of all 10 signed Liars’ books.
Winners will have the option of having their signed books personalized, and receive an autographed Liar’s Club canvas book tote.
In the case of a tie for the big tuna, the deadlocked contestants will be awarded one raffle ticket each and we’ll draw that winning ticket at Womrath’s too.
Books will be shipped to the winners the week of 11/8.
Members of the Liars Club, their families, or anybody else who might be somehow associated with the Philly Liars Club in a way that perhaps hasn’t yet come to light (if you follow me) are ineligible to win.
Our families and friends are sick of hearing about our books anyway so I’m sure they’re all relieved.

So, technically speaking, can I enter? I’m no longer employed at a bookshop

The ONLY people ineligible to play are the members of the Philly Liars and their families, but like I said, that crowd is so over our books.
We really want everybody to have a chance to play the game so we can help spread the word about your favorite indie bookstores. So post all you want, Jenn, and start piling up tickets.
